| Day 2 | Selva Negra | MANAGUA-SELVA NEGRA : Breakfast. Before, heading to Selva Negra, your tour guide will take you for Managua city tour which includes visits to Alcahulinca Indian tracks, Ruben Dario Theater, Peace park, The new modern Managua's cathedral (picture on right) and other interesting places part of the latest history of Nicaragua, after lunch the trip continues to Matagalpa area. | Day 3 | Selva Negra | SELVA NEGRA : Breakfast - Morning Coffee Tour at Selva Negra, you will also visit San Rafael del Norte to learn the importance of the town during the Sandinos time. Afternoon at Leisure. Overnight at Selva Negra. (B) |
| Day 4 | Leon | SELVA NEGRA-LEON : Breakfast. Your day will be full of different experiences of Nicaraguan History. First a visit to the Chorotega Museum in which you will have the chance to enjoy more than 1000 pieces of Pre Columbian Indigenous art that varies from 500BC and 500 AC. Continue your day to the colonial city of Leon for city tour. Overnight at El Convento, Leon city. (B,L) |
| Day 5 | Granada | LEON-GRANADA : After Breakfast depart to the Ruins of Old Leon - Declared in 2000 World Heritage site of Human kind 2002 by UNESCO. Continue your trip to the colonial city of Granada. Rest of the day at Leisure.Overnight at La Gran Francia, Granada. (B,L) |
| Day 6 | Granada | GRANADA : Breakfast. Spanish influence will be seeing at the colonial city of Granada, where your Nicaragua expert will lead your day starting at Granada then boat trip to Lake Nicaragua.. Largest freshwater lake in one country of Latin America. Continue to Masaya Volcano National Park, Masaya Market where you will find unique pieces of art of local artist. After a visit to Sandino's Native Town to learn why this man has been important in Nicaragua history. Overnight at La Gran Francia, Granada. (B,L) |
| Day 7 | Mombacho | GRANADA-MOMBACHO : Breakfast. Half day tour to Mombacho Volcano natural reserve. For our visit, our vehicle will lead the way to the foot of the mountain where we will get in touch with the park keepers. Then we will switch vehicles and start our way up to the top on a four wheel drive. The adventure begins on a paved road and right from the start we will be surprised by the biodiversity of this natural reserve. Surrounded by exuberant vegetation and enjoying breathtaking views. When we reach the summit, we will understand why this ecosystem is a cloud forest. The park keeper will give instructions to everyone so we can enjoy our visit. We will then take the trails of the volcano (For approximately 1:45 Minutes) to learn a lot about the flora, the fauna, the ancient people who lived there and the Vulcan logy of the area. If the day is clear enough, we will visit an impressive viewpoint to observe the plain pacific region of Nicaragua, the neighboring city of Granada and the great lake of Nicaragua and its islands. When we return from our walk, we will visit the biological station where you can enjoy a cup of coffee or purchase snacks. Our guide will let us know when it is time to board the vehicle that will transport us back to the foot of the mountain. Considered a moderate hike. Overnight at La Gran Francia, Granada (B) |
| Day 8 | San Juan del Sur | GRANADA-SAN JUAN DEL SUR : Breakfast. Guided transfer from Granada to the picturesque port town of San Juan del Sur.. Overnight at the beautiful resort Piedras y Olas. (B) |
| Day 9 | San Juan del Sur | SAN JUAN DEL SUR : Days at leisure to enjoy the Resort and the beaches around San Juan Del Sur. (B) About San Juan del Sur: San Juan del Sur is a coastal town on the Pacific Ocean, in south-west Nicaragua. The town is a popular tourist location because of its many nearby and spectacular beaches (very popular for surfers). Its population is approximately 18,500, comprised largely of families engaged in fishing and foreigners from the United States, Canada and Europe. |
