| Day 2 | Arenal | SAN JOSE-ARENAL: : Depart from San Jose to the Arenal area via shuttle transfer it is a scenic 3-hour drive through mountains and rich agricultural lands to the Arenal area and the Arenal volcano, which is the youngest Volcano in Costa Rica and the most active. The 1,657 meter high (5,437 ft) volcano towers above Lake Arenal's Eastern shores. Overnight at hotel Volcano Lodge, with great views of the Volcano. (B) |
| Day 3 | Arenal | ARENAL NATIONAL PARK : This morning enjoy a hike with your guide inside the Arenal National Park through rainforest where monkeys, toucans and parrots are frequently seen. Continue over a cold blocky lava flow from Arenal Volcano that formed in 1992 and provides panoramic vistas of the volcano, forests, mountains and Arenal Lake. In the afternoon at leisure to explore the area on your own or take an optional tour. (B) |
| Day 4 | Guanacaste | ARENAL- GUANACASTE : In the morning -shuttle transfer to Tamarindo beach -one of the most beautiful and popular beach area in Costa Rica. Tamarindo is home to steady surfing waves, perfect Pacific sunsets, great variety of dining options and a very good nightlife, Tamarindo is an ideal destination for people that enjoy beaches and relaxation.
